Giving Thanks Before a Meal
人们相信上帝给了我们“恩宠”，因而有了饭前祷告的习俗。感谢
上帝赐与我们正要领受的食物是我们因为得到恩宠而对上帝表达感
激之情。在美国，饭前祷告是一个很普遍的仪式，在很多宗教中都
是不可缺少的组成部分。
The custom of saying prayers before a meal is a result of the belief that God has given us the "grace" to be grateful. Thanking God for the meal we are about to receive is the gratitude we show God for the grace given to us. A prayer of thanks before a meal is a widespread ritual that is an integral part of the many religions practiced in America.
